There are so many diets and plans in the world that insinuate that you can achieve fat loss and reach your ideal weight, but the majority of them do not work. If, like me, you are a fat loss idiot that think they can achieve their perfect weight by fad diets and various weight loss natural supplements or tablets, you will find yourself sorely disappointed and probably heavier than you were at the start.

There are some ways in which you can lose weight, but there are also a few that do not necessarily achieve this. There are so many reasons why you may be overweight and it is these reasons that you need to look at when learning how not to achieve fat loss.

Low calorie diets are dangerous. Starving yourself or consuming very little calories can damage your body and can also make you miserable. Your body will adjust to the amount of calories you are putting into your body, therefore this may work for a short while, but as a long term solution, it will not and you will find that either you put on weight, or plateau before you reach your desired weight.

Low carbohydrate diets are also dangerous and can also make you very miserable as well. OK, they may work for some people but what is the point in being the weight you want to be if you can't enjoy it? Carbohydrates give you energy, so if you take this away, you will have very little energy and would not do the things that you would normally do and enjoy. You will struggle to find a meal in a restaurant that contains few calories, so that is out of the question so therefore you will end up spending your time sat at home, reading low carb diet books and wishing you could go to dinner with your friends or loved ones!

Do not be fooled by quick fixes as these tend to not normally work; they definitely will not work for long term fat loss!
